The Department of Commerce was started in the year 2016 with one faculty and 20 students. It has been established with a vision to prepare future business leaders of the country. The department takes pride in its teaching and learning facilities, comprehensive curriculum, and entrepreneurship development. Besides the curriculum, the department focuses on personality development, leadership traits to groom future managers. The department discipline has an in-house incubation center that assists aspiring entrepreneurs to work on their dream projects from conception to completion. Currently, we have total students 125+ who had enrolled for the B. Com degree from our department since the establishment of the department.

The program aims at developing accounting, managerial and organizational skills in the learners, and also to promote entrepreneurial skills. The program opens up a plethora of career and higher study opportunities including company secretaries, chartered accountants, cost/ work accountants, banking, finance, and management.

The Commerce Department provides an enabling environment to help its students stand out both academically and in shaping them to an overall balanced personality both in terms of the college’s vision and today’s competitive environment. The faculty of commerce specialized in varied aspects of Commerce and Management – in areas like Accounting, Finance, Marketing,  Taxation, and Corporate/Business Laws and International Business- hone the academic skills of students enrolled in its undergraduate courses. Additionally, the department places emphasis on hands-on learning through projects, internships, seminars, and workshops of field-level experts drawn from both academia and industry.
